Payment & Cancellations
A deposit of 50% of the full tariff must be paid within 1 week of a reservation. This can be paid by card over the phone or by posting a cheque made payable to Beach Shack Hair & Beauty Ltd.
The final balance must be paid in full no less then 4 weeks before your arrival by card over the phone or by cheque made payable to Beach Shack Hair & Beauty Ltd.
Bookings made within 4 weeks of arrival must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Failure to pay the final balance before arrival will result in loss of deposit. The proprietor reserves the right to take new bookings.
Cancellations that are made within 14 days prior to arrival will result in loss of deposit. Cancellations made more than 1 month prior to arrival will receive a 25% refund on your deposit. Tenants are strongly advised to take out holiday insurance to cover cancellations after a booking has been confirmed and paid for.
A refundable good housekeeping bond of Â£50 per person (this can be increased at management discretion) is required on arrival. This should be paid in cash or production of a valid credit/debit card on the day of your arrival. On departure you will be refunded the cash or the card details will be destroyed should â€˜The Padâ€™ meet our requirements after inspection. (Please check the inventory on arrival and departure then report any discrepancies.) You are expected to leave the property in the same clean, tidy condition as when you arrived for your holiday.
We regret we cannot accept any bookings under the age of 18 years old (unless agreed with the proprietor who reserves the right to request an extra housekeeping bond and a disclaimer signed by a parent or guardian accepting full and complete responsibility for anyone under the age of 18).
â€˜The Padâ€™ will be available from 3 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11 am without fail on the day of departure. (Late checkouts may be agreed at the discretion of the Accommodation Manager and may be subject to an additional fee)
â€˜The Padâ€™ accommodates 6 tenants and under no circumstances can anyone apart from those on the agreement use the facilities. (facilities can be supplied to increase occupancy to 8 tenants. This is subject to Management discretion, additional costs and housekeeping bonds)
Any serious complaints made about any tenantâ€™s behaviour will result in the loss of the housekeeping bond.
The proprietors cannot accept responsibility or liability for any personal injuries sustained by any person, or damage to, or loss of any property brought to the property including vehicles whilst staying at â€˜The Padâ€™.
The holiday tenancy cannot be sublet.
